Ryan Lancaster ended up coming second in the WA state championship. He had a crash in the round before dislocating his right thumb causing him to dnf 2 races. They had to change his throttle from the thumb throttle to a twist throttle like a 2 wheeler so he could race. He went into the last round with a 2 point lead but in the first corner of the first race someone crashed into him putting him nearly a lap down, he came in at 9^th place. In the last 2 races he came in 1^st to take second in the WA championship, missing out on first by only 2 points.

Ryan has been to the specialist for his thumb and found it was also broken as well as dislocated. He has got a quarter zone shot put into his thumb so he can race the Australian championships in just a few weeks, he is getting back up to his normal speed and is going to give it his all.
